When searching for a computer which is cheap and affordable this can often be difficult, especially since most companies offer a financing option that help make computers affordable but do not offer such programs to people with bad credit or low monthly income. So when a family has a low income where are the best places to find computers? What brands are more highly recommendable?

Who is the cheapest company for computers available to the public?

The cheapest most affordable computers available are second hand computers, but such computers are not recommended for people with low income or bad credit. Why? Because most used computers are more likely to have significant amount of function and performance issues, which is usually why they have been resold in the first place.

So in alternative to the cheapest option, the smartest choice for a person or family with bad credit would be to find the cheapest company distributor of new computers. The company currently which offers the cheapest of systems is Dell. Yes its true dell is expensive, but there is actually a hidden way to get the computer systems much cheaper then retail price.

How to get huge discounts through Dell without financing?

Dell has a partnership with PayPal payment services, meaning if you purchase a dell computer through PayPal you receive a discount. Currently that discount stands at a drastic 20% off with PayPal. That means if you are buying a laptop computer to work on the go, or for school. You can now get 100$ off which is a huge savings.

What is another company which is affordable for low income families if someone does not like Dell?

The next cheapest company currently would be Toshiba, their prices may not be the lowest, but in comparison to the quality of computers and the actual price of such a computer somewhere else, Toshiba would be the second cheapest computer company. Computers from Toshiba range from $350 brand new and top models, to between $600 and $1200.

So what are the most expensive two companies a low income family should not waste their time looking into?

The number 1 most expensive, but top quality computer company is alien ware. Alienware designs computers of the highest performance capabilities these computers would be utilized for media centers, developers, designers, heavy gamers, and people who use highly complex forms of software which need maximum components to be compatible on a computer.

The next most expensive company would be Sony, not really extra ordinarily extensive quality. But it is a trusted name brand company. Meaning people are mostly paying extra for the comfort ability of using a company which they are familiar with.

If you have ever searched the internet for a new desktop or you have read a pc magazine you have at least heard of Alienware. This cutting edge company offers extremely powerful computers to the public. I have personally purchased a computer from them, and it is still running as fast as the day it was shipped to me. Now why would anybody want one?

You say you want to play games on your pc? Well look no further. I have put together multiple computers for myself and my family. The Alienware I purchased is still more powerful than the others. They only use the highest quality products from well known brands that can produce the most stunning graphics. Even when you switch your settings to the max, the Alienware computer is built to handle that and have absolutely no problem.

Portable power and convenience on your mind? Even a laptop computer can be turned into a powerful tool for any task. If you want a laptop for college work, doing your taxes, or going on vacation with the family and need your video games to last the weekend. The power is there, they set up your portable computer to handle any load you throw at it.

Of course there has to be a draw back. If you can really call it that, the price. Now I know you can make a pc that will compare to the power, and have a lower price tag. The difference is Alienware computers have a warranty while your don’t. They even have a credit card system you can apply for, now you can pay off your brand new computer over time and not need any of your current cards.

So if you way the pros and the cons that are tied to Alienware computers, its pretty much a no brainer. I was able to listen to music, copy drivers from a cd, and scan my secondary hard disk all while writing this article. Yes I am using an Alienware, and no I will not switch brands anytime.

Now a days it’s simple to find and replace your office or home with a new chic inexpensive desktop. The first desktop computer is by Dell, it’s called the Dell GX270 desktop and is equipped with 2GB of RAM, 250GB of hard drive memory, and eight usb ports (two in front and six in rear). The Dell GX270 holds more than enough space to hold music files, pictures, and videos, it also comes with a dvd burner that not only burns cd’s and dvd’s but plays them as well. This computer comes with the operating system ran by Windows XP and easy to operate with other software programs that are compatible. Some of the negatives with this desktop, however, is that sometimes the computer will freeze and you have to reboot it in order to have full active functions again, but other than that this desktop is great.

The second desktop that’s nice is by Compaq, it’s the Presario SR5648F, this desktop includes a six USB ports drive, DVD drive, 3.0GB of memory, and a hard drive memory of 320GB. This is a pretty basic desktop that operates off of windows vista, it’s great for your everyday needs such as typing documents, downloading programs and software, storing files and pictures, playing cd’s and dvd’s. The only bad thing about this desktop is the amount of space that’s given to you to use for your media files, if your looking for plenty of storage for videos or any type of media this desktop is definitely not for you, but if your looking for an operating system that can give you unlimited presentation with documents, spreadsheets, and great researching tools for the internet then this is a winner.

The same thing goes for this last desktop I’m introducing to you, it’s by Hewlett Packard, called the HP Pavilion Slimline. The HP Slimline has everything the Compaq Presario has but is built to handle more demanding applications such as digital video due to the 64×2 based processor that’s installed into the modem for a more fast hard working machine. The Slimline is also petite in size to alot for more desk space and less cable clutter to deal with. HP bult this desktop for web browsing needs, so it is looked upon as a home computer more so than an office computer, but remember that this doesn’t mean it’s not capable of handling your everyday office needs such as using programs in Powerpoint, Quickbooks, Spreadsheets, etc.

There are many places to choose from when buying a desktop but you want to have great quality and function for a small price. The price of the Dell GX270 is $249.95 and price of the HP Pavilion Slimline is $299.99, these both can be be found and purchased through the secure website www.buy.com. The Compaq Presario SR5648F has a low price of $319.99 and can be found at www.circuitcity.com, I really hope this has been helpful in regards to shopping for great desktops at low prices, good luck!

Gateway Computers Review

Throughout the years of technology, computers have been one of the fastest growing industries in the past century. Gateway was one of the first computer companies to move in to the technology scene. Gateway was founded in 1985 by a man named Ted Waitt. His business plan was three pages long, and he had a $10,000 loan from his grandmother. In his small farm house in Sioux City, Iowa he made Gateway into one of the largest direct PC sales in the country. He would ship his products in spotted boxes in the pattern of a cow. (holstein cows) Oringinally called Gateway 2000, the 2000 was dropped after its founder opened up retail stores in the suburbs all over America.

Gateway was on its way on growing into one of the most successful businesses in America. In turn, the business was relocated to La Jolla, California in May of 1998 to help its growth. However, to cut operation costs, it was again relocated to Poway, California in October of 2001. Though prosperous for years, Gateway went downhill extremely fast. After taking a financial hit in stock shares, Gateway was forced to shut down all of its stores in April of 2004.

That did not keep Gateway down, however. They purchased eMachines in March of 2001 and hoped that the strong channel strength would bring the company back to life. Like everyone anticipated, it did. Today, Gateway sells a wide variety of products along with PCs. Plasma screen televisions, mp3 players and digital cameras make up a long list of products sold by Gateway today. Notebooks computers are among the most popular products. The Gateway P-7807u laptop computer is a perfect example of popular products Gateway has to offer. With an Intel 2 Duo processor and internal wireless internet capabilities, 17 inch wide-screen for gamers and a ton of memory space, the notebook is perfect for just about anything.

Need something for the wireless internet capabilities? How about a wireless router? Gateway supplies them also. With 256 types of routers, someones computer can be connected to the web with no chords. These two products combined can cost up to $2500. These products come with free tech support 24-7. They also come with warranties that range from six months to ten years. No lifetime warranties are offered because of lack of problems with all Gateway products. All Gateway products are produced with up-to-date technology and has always been true to the money back guarantees. It is best to order products online for the reason that the products are built fresh before sending to the customers. Also, not many Gateway products are sold in retail stores at a large variety.

Alienware Computers: Bad Credit Financing

With their excellent graphics and gaming capabilities Alienware computers have become increasingly popular over the past few years and in high demand. Besides being durable computers they are also reasonably priced. Even with their prices being fairly inexpensive compared to other computers out there if you have bad credit you wonder if you are able to get financing for your own Alienware computer. Here are some options to consider for getting financing of your own Alienware computer.

The first option is to look into getting a bad credit credit card. Bad credit credit cards are made especially for those who have bad credit. The big different between these types of credit cards and regular credit cards are usually the interest rate. Bad credit credit cards usually give you a higher interest rate. While you may not like having to pay the high rate, it still provides you with the chance to own an Alienware computer and you will be improving your credit as well.

Your next option is to look into the rent to own option. Just about anyone can qualify to rent to own as long as you are employed, a residence and some references. Just as with the bad credit credit cards you will likely pay a much higher interest rate than normal. You sign a contract that you will make payments, usually monthly till you have the agreed upon price for the computer paid off. Then the Alienware computer is all yours. If you do not make your payments they have the right to come and take the computer back.

Considering the how advanced Alienware computers are and the fact that they can last well into the next few years, even purchasing one with some sort of bad credit financing can greatly benefit you and give you the chance to get the Alienware computer you really want.
